On 23 May 2016, the government of Argentina via Resolution 3895 introduced an updated list of criterion values for imports of parts of footwear falling under HS Code 6406.10.00.
The import values for 6406.10.00 correspond to FOB values ranging from USD 10.28 to USD 35.00 per kg. The previous import criterion values for 6406.10.00 corresponded to FOB values ranging between USD 5.71 to USD 15.71 per kg.
Furthermore, via the same Resolution the government for the first time introduced criterion values for imports falling under HS Code 6406.20.00 per kg. The criterion values for imports of 6406.20.00 correspond to a FOB value of USD 7.50 per kg.
The updated and newly introduced list of criterion values for imports in 2016, refer to the following countries: South Korea, North Korea, Philippines, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Viet Nam and China, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay and Uruguay.
Following the GTA de minimis rule, only trading partners with imports to Argentina exceeding USD 1 million are listed as affected.
