Import tariff

On 12 August 2016, the government of Argentina introduced an updated list of criterion values for imports of wireless line telephones falling under HS Code 8517.18.91.

The updated criterion values for imports correspond to a FOB Value ranging from USD 4.10 to USD 6.00 per unit. The previous import criterion values corresponded to a FOB value of USD 1.87 per unit.

The updated list of criterion values for imports introduced in 2016 refer to the following countries: South Korea, North Korea, China, Philippines, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Viet Nam.

Following the GTA de minimis rule, only trading partners with imports to Argentina exceeding USD 1 million are listed as affected.
