In September 2016, the government of India initiated a new anti-dumping investigation. In September 2017, the investigation was terminated without the imposition of duties.

Anti-dumping

On 16 September 2016, the Indian Directorate General of Anti-dumping & Allied Duties, Ministry of Commerce and Industry initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of polybutadiene rubber originating in or exported from the Republic of Korea, Russia, South Africa, Iran and Singapore. The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code subheading: 4002.20.00. This investigation follows the application lodged by Reliance Industries Limited.

On 11 December 2017, the Indian authorities terminated the antidumping investigation on imports of the subject good from Republic of Korea, Russia, South Africa, Iran and Singapore without the imposition of duties.
