In September 2015, the government of Thailand initiated a new anti-dumping investigation. Definitive duties were imposed in March 2017.

On 18 September 2015, the Thai authorities initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of certain painted hot dip galvanized of cold rolled steel as well as painted hot dip plated or coated with aluminium zinc alloys of cold rolled steel from Viet Nam. The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS codes: 7210.7010, 7210.7090.
On 25 March 2017, the Thai authorities imposed a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of the subject good from Viet Nam. The rate of duty is between 4.30% and 60.26%. The duty is in force for a period of five years.
