Anti-dumping

On 18 January 2016, the Thai authorities initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of certain iron steel pipes and tubes from China and the Republic of Korea. The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS codes: 7305.11, 7305.12, 7305.19, 7305.31, 7305.39, 7305.90, 7306.19, 7306.29, 7306.30, 7306.50, 7306.61, 7306.69, 7306.90.
 
On 16 November 2016, the Thai authorities imposed a provisional anti-dumping duty on imports of the subject good from China and the Republic of Korea. The rate of the duty on import from China is between 3.22% and 66.01%. The rate of duty on imports from the Republic of Korea is between 17.22% and 53.88%. The duty is in force until and including 15 March 2017.

On 20 July 2017, the Thai authorities imposed a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of the subject good from China and the Republic of Korea. The rate of the duty on import from China is between 3.22% and 66.01%. The rate of duty on imports from the Republic of Korea is between 3.49% and 53.88%. The duty is in force until 19 July 2022.
