Import quota

on 20 January 2010, Uzbekistan has reduced duty-free import quotas on goods transported from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Afghanistan by individuals.
 
Under the resolution passed by the Ministry of Finance and State Customs Committee the new quota for physical persons has been reduced from 1000 to 10 U.S. dollars. Only travellers importing goods from the neighboring Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Afghanistan are affected. Meanwhile, the quota for products imported or delivered through international forwarding services from territories of other countries remains 1000 U.S. dollars.
