In August, 2017, the government of the United States imposed anti-dumping duties.

On July 21, 2016 Lion Elastomers LLC and East West Copolymers filed a petition requesting the imposition of anti-dumping duties on emulsion styrene butadiene rubber imported from Brazil, Korea, Mexico, and Poland.
On September 2, 2016, the U.S. International Trade Commission determined that there is a reasonable indication that a U.S. industry is materially injured by reason of the imports.
On February 17, 2017, the Department of Commerce announced its affirmative preliminary determinations in the anti-dumping duty investigations of imports from Brazil, Korea, Mexico, and Poland.
On July 11, 2017, the Department of Commerce (Commerce) announced its affirmative final determinations with respect to Brazil, Korea, Mexico, and Poland.
On August 3, 2017 the U.S.bInternational Trade Commission determined that a U.S. industry is materially injured by reason of these imports. As a result of the USITC’s affirmative determinations, the Department of Commerce will issue antidumping duty orders on imports of this product from Brazil, Korea, Mexico, and Poland.
