Import tariff

According to press reports--all consistent--the GCC nations approved plans to double the tariff on imported tobacco from 100% to 200% in mid-2016. Apparently, GCC Finance Ministers deliberated on this plan in November 2015.
Some press reports indicate that tobacco from the United States was exempted from this tariff increase.
