Import licensing requirement

 On 18 May 2016, the European Commission issued regulation 2016/1239 consolidating its legislation on importing and exporting licences for agricultural products.
The regulation simplifies and standardises the general procedures for obtaining import and export licenses for agricultural products.
The new regime shall start applying on 6 November 2016.
