Import tariff

As was notified by the Permanent Delegation of China to the WTO, the Chinese government has increased import tariffs on fuel oil and jet fuel. With both tariffs previously held at 1 percent, the tariff for fuel oil increased to 3 percent and the tariff on jet oil to 6 percent.
 
The measure is effective from 1 January 2010.
