Anti-dumping

On 8 July 2016, the Argentinian authorities initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of certain aluminium alloy wheels without tyre, of a kind used in motor vehicles from China (Resolution 169/2016). The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code: 8708.70.90. The complaint was lodged by POLIMETAL SA.

On 5 January 2018, the Argentinian authorities imposed a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of the subject good from China. The rate of duty is ad valorem 36.9% of the declared FOB value. The duty is in force for a period of five years.
