Anti-dumping

On 1 July 2016, the Turkish authorities initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of solar panels from China (Notification No. 2016/29). The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code subheading: 8541.40.90.00.11. The complaint was lodged by Solartürk Enerji San.ve Tic. A.S.; Sunlego Enerji Sistemleri San. ve Tic. A.S.; and Zahit Enerji San. ve Tic. A.S.

On 1 April 2017, the Turkish authorities imposed a definitive antidumping duty on imports of the subject good from China (Notification 2017/6). The rate of duty on imports is USD 20 or 25 per square meter depending on the company.
