ANNOUNCEMENT 27 Oct 2015

In October 2015, the government of Israel initiated a new anti-dumping investigation. In April 2016, a provisional duty was imposed and in November 2016 a definitive duty was imposed. In January 2018, the definitive duty was extended for a new period following a review initiated in January 2017. In December 2019, a sunset review was initiated.

Anti-dumping

On 27 October 2015, the Israeli authorities initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of float glass from Turkey. The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code: 7005.29.90.
 
On 18 April 2016, the Israeli authorities imposed a provisional anti-dumping duty on imports of the subject good from Turkey. The rate of duty is between 29.2% and 70.7%.
 
On 23 November 2016, the Israeli authorities imposed a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of the subject good from Turkey. The rate of duty is between 26.5% and 70.7%.

On 18 January 2017, the Israeli authorities initiated a sunset review of the definitive duty imposed on float glass from Turkey.

On 28 January 2018, the Israeli authorities extended the definitive duty imposed on the subject good from Turkey until 10 December 2019.

On 8 December 2019, the Israeli authorities initiated a sunset review of the definitive duty imposed on float glass from Turkey.
