Anti-dumping

On 30 November 2015, the Egyptian authorities initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of dioctyl orthophthalates from the Republic of Korea. The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code subheading: 2917.32.
 
On 29 November 2016, the Egyptian authorities imposed a definitive duty on imports of the subject good from the Republic of Korea. The rate of duty is 13.9% of CIF value, however, not less than USD 145 per tonne, with the exception of the company Aekyung petrochemical, which exports are subject to a duty of 6.2% of the CIF value, however not less than USD 72 per tonne.
