Import tariff quota

On 28 March 2016, the Brazilian Foreign Trade Council (Camex) issued resolution no. 28 altering the tariff-rate quota on methanol which carries the Mercosur Common Nomenclaure (NCM) 2905.11.00. The quota was reduced from 600'000 tonne to 250'000 tonne.
The reduction of the import tariff on the subject good from 12% to 0% is extended for an additional period from 4 April 2016 until 3 October 2016.
