Export quota

Until 1 January 2016 (according to Decree of the Council of Ministers No 288 of 9 October 2015) the government permitted temporary the export of fruit and vegetables (classification groups 07--08) by vehicles to a list of certain state-approved juridical persons.
 
A summary of the state measures concerning the mentioned fruit and vegetables (group 07--08):

  • Initially, Decree No. 249 obliged the agricultural exporters of these goods to export the mentioned products only by railways and air transport starting from 1 September 2015.
  • Decree No. 288 liberalised the initial measure by extending the scope of Decree No. 249 of 28 August 2015.
  • The introduced by Decree No. 288 permission was extended until 1 July 2016 (according to Decree of the Council of Ministers No. 13 of 20 January 2016).
