Import tariff

 On 19 November 2015, the Chinese Ministry of Finance announced in a notice that it would exempt 97% of imported goods from eight least developed countries.
The countries mentioned are: Comoros, Mauritania, Togo, Liberia, Rwanda, Angola, Zambia and Nepal.
The new tariff rates came into force on 1 December 2015.
The HS codes that were affected by the notice were mentioned in its annex. However, neither the English nor Chinese pages on the notice do not include the annex. Hence, no affected tariff lines or sectors could be identified.
