Export tax

On 16 March 2011, the Ministry of Commerce & Industry reduced the Minimum Export Price on all onions except Bangalore rose and Krishnapuram onions from USD 350 per metric ton to USD 275 per metric ton.

The MEP on these onions was later reduced on 23 March 2011 to to USD 225 per metric ton (see related measure).
