Export tax

 On 15 February 2012, the Ministry of Commerce & Industry reduced the Minimum Export Price (MEP) on all onions except Bangalore rose and Krishnapuram onions from USD 150 per metric ton to USD 125 per metric ton.
 
The MEP on onions was temporarily removed on 8 May 2012 (see related measure)
