On 3 September 2015, the Italian Eximbank SACE announced in a press release that it would guarantee an export credit worth 200 million EUR for the purchase of parts from the Italian company FCA by Turkish car manufacturer Tofas.
Tofas, partially owned by the Fiat Automobiles Crysler group, would use the parts for the production of the new station wagon and hatchback models.
