Anti-dumping

On 13 January 2016, the Brazilian authorities initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of iron or steel rods (CA-50 category) from Turkey (Circular No. 3, 12.01.2016). The products subject to investigation are classified under HS codes 7213.10.00, 7214.20.00, 7227.20.00, 7227.90.00 and 7228.30.00. Certain products within the same category are excluded from the investigation. Further information can be found under section 2.1 of the Circular.
The complaint was lodged on 29 October 2015 by Gerdau Aços Longos S.A. and ArcelorMittal Brasil S/A.
 
On 5 May 2016, the Brazilian authorities terminated the above investigation without the imposition of duties (Circular No. 24, 04.05.16).
