Tax or social insurance relief

On December 10th, 2009, the Government of Argentina launched an initiative granting tax benefits and suspensions of export duties to farmers from districts declared as 'emergency zones'. The benefit encompasses all farmers located in ten Argentinean provinces affected by different natural disasters. The resolution was adopted within the framework of an emergency farm bill passed by the Congress in August, 2009.
