On 13 January 2016, Pakistan's Economic Coordination Committee approved an export quota of 600,000 tons of wheat by the provinces of Sindh (200,000 tons) and Punjab (400,000 tons). A subsidy of $55 (Punjab) and $45 (Sindh) per ton is also available on these exports and will remain valid till 15 March 2016.
