Internal taxation of imports

On 24 December 2015 the President of the Republic of Belarus approved Decree No. 521. It exempted as of 31 December 2015 from import tax certain items for production of glassware and medical supplies.
The following items for production of medical supplies are exempted from import value-added tax:

  • Quartz sand with code 2505.10.000.0
  • Fluorspar with code 2529.21.000.0
  • Sodium nitrate with code 3102.50.900.0

The following items for production of glassware are exempted from import value-added tax:

  • Quartz sand with code 2505.10.000.0
  • Chalk with code 2509.00.000.0
  • Boric acid with code 2810.00.900.0
  • Hydrogen fluoride (hydrofluoric acid) with code 2811.11.000.0
  • Arsenious anhydridewith code 2811.29.100.0
  • Zinc oxide with code 2817.00.000.0
  • Manganese dioxide with code 2820.10.000.0
  • Red lead and orange with code 2824.90.100.0
  • Antimony oxide with code 2825.80.000.0
