Import licensing requirement

On 15 October 2015, the Indonesian Ministry of Trade announced regulation 85/M-DAG/PER/10/2015 regarding import provisions for textile products.
With the new provisions, all imports of textile products will no longer require a product-specific import licence ("IP-Tekstil"). Given that exemptions to this license were given previously to some products (cf. Related Measures), this regulation affects fifteen 4-digit tariff lines (as compared to the latest list in the appendix of regulation 02/M-DAG/PER/1/2010).
The regulation came into force on 20 October 2015.

Update

On 31 August 2017, the regulation 85/2015 was updated by amendment 64/M-DAG/PER/8/2017 (see Related State Acts).
