Export-related non-tariff measure, nes
On 8 December 2015, the Indonesian Ministry of Trade published regulation 103/M-DAG/PER/12/2015 updating its import and export regime on rice. The document replaces the earlier regulation 19/M-DAG/PER/3/2014 (cf. Related Measures), as it partially eases the restrictions enforced in the previous year.
The regulation eliminates the technical verification requirement for rice exports (cf. art. 33 of 103/M-DAG/12/2015 as opposed to art. 34(1) of 19/M-DAG/PER/3/2014).
The regulation came into force on 1 January 2016.
