Import quota

On 31 October 2011, Ecuador's Trade Committee (Comité de Comerico Exterior COMEX) adopted Resolution No. 31, replacing Resolution No. 596.
Resolution 31 increases the duty free quota for poultry corresponding to tariff line 020725 to a total of 338 tons (up from 300 tons).

The out-of-quota tariff of 15 percent remains unchanged. Also, the complete ban on the import of poultry meat corresponding to tariff line 020727 remains in force.

This measure entered into force on 10 November 2011 until it was abrogated by Resolution No. 41 on 28 March 2012.
