Export licensing requirement

On 25 december 2013 the the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved Resolution No. 950.
Its Annex 1 and 5 contain the following GTA-relevant content:

  • the export quotas for slag, ash and residues (waste) containing primarily zinc with classification code 2620 19 00 00 subject to licensing were decreased from 2750 tonnes (in 2013) to 2700 tonnes;
  • the export quotas for slag, ash and residues (waste) containing mainly copper with classification code 2620 30 00 00 subject to licensing were decreased from 7200 tonnes (in 2013) to 6400 tonnes.
  • import licensing with respect to insecticides (except veterinary medicinal products), fungicides, herbicides, means to prevent germs germination and plant growth regulators, rodenticides (except veterinary drugs) and similar means to them (except disinfectants) with classification codes 3808 50 00 00, 3808 91, 3808 92, 3808 93, 3808 99 was introduced.

 Resolution No. 950 entered into force as of 1 January 2014.
