On October 19th, 2015, the Pakistani National Tariff Commission initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of wire rod originating in China (Notice ADC No. 39/2015/NTC/WR).

On 21 September 2017, the Pakistani National Tariff Commission terminated the antidumping investigation on imports of wire rod originating in China without the imposition of definitive duties.
