 On 7 August 2014, the German Eximbank announced it would provide an export credit worth 51 million EUR to finance the construction of a particle board factory by the Brazilian-based Berneck S.A. Paineis e Serrados, "which is supplied by various small and medium-sized enterprises from Germany and other parts of Europe. The funds come with an export credit guarantee by the German Federal Government" (cf. Sources).
