Trade finance

On 29 September 2015, the Swedish Minister for Enterprise and Innovation announced a new export promotion scheme targeted at increasing Sweden's exports in the coming years.
The scheme involves a budget of 800 million SEK (ca. 98 million USD) for export promotion until the end of 2019 and lists 22 measures including:

  • "increased Swedish presence in growth markets
  • strengthen the will to export
  • financing and granting credit
  • simplify cross-border eCommerce and data flows
  • promote the mobility of persons to and from Sweden
  • increase interest of foreign companies in investing in Sweden"

In addition, the scheme also envisages more flights to and from Sweden. This represents a package, then, of trade-promoting measures.
