ANNOUNCED AS TEMPORARYYes
Import licensing requirement
In December 2018, the Chinese government published a catalogue of goods classified as 'dual-use'.
This indicates said goods are considered by the Chinese government to be usable for both civilian and military purposes, requiring a special license for import or export.
In this iteration of the catalogue, the list of imports requiring a license did not change from the previous year's.
One tariff line was added to the roster of those requiring a dual-use licence for export.
UPDATE: On December 31st, 2019, the catalogue for 2020 was released in MOFCOM/GAC Annoucement 2019/68. No products were added or removed from the roster.
