In December 2013, the Chinese government published a catalogue of goods classified as 'dual-use'.
This indicates said goods are considered by the Chinese government to be usable for both civilian and military purposes, requiring a special license for import or export.
In this iteration of the catalogue, the list of imports requiring a license did not change from the previous year's.
The exported goods list, however, removed one item, meaning it would no longer require a license to be exported.
