Anti-dumping

On August 24, 2018 the U.S. International Trade Commission announced its determinations in its five-year (sunset) reviews concerning stainless steel bar from Brazil, India, Japan, and Spain. It determined that revoking the existing antidumping duty order on imports of stainless steel bar from India would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time, but that revoking the existing antidumping duty orders on imports of this product from Brazil, Japan, and Spain would not be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time. As a result of these determinations, the existing antidumping duty order on imports of this product from India will remain in place and the orders on imports ofrom Brazil, Japan, and Spain will be revoked.
