Anti-circumvention

On 8 December 2017, the Turkish authorities initiated an anti-circumvention investigation on imports of granites from Iran (Notification No. 2017/28). This investigation follows suspicion that the definitive anti-dumping duty imposed by Notification 2012/14 on imports of the same products originating in China might be circumvented (see related intervention). The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code subheading: 6802.23 and 6802.93. T

On 19 June 2018, the Turkish authorities extended the antidumping duty imposed on imports of granites from China (see related intervention) to imports of the same products from Iran (Notification No. 2018/25). The rate of the duty is USD 174 per ton.
