ANNOUNCED AS TEMPORARYNo
On 26 July 2018, the Argentine Bank of Investment and Foreign Trade announced that the IADB had allocated USD 100 million to finance an energy efficiency program for local SMEs. The objective of the resources is to provide Argentine SMEs with credits to support projects related to energy efficiency and renewable energies, particularly biomass and biogas.
This credit line is an initiative of the Green Climate Fund, a financial mechanism established by the parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change to support developing countries in their response to fight climate change.
