Anti-dumping

On June 20, 2018 the Coalition for Fair Rack Imports filed countervailing and antidumping duty petitions regarding steel racks imported from China. Goods covered by this petition are currently classified under HTSUS 7326.90.8688 and 9403.20.0080 and may also enter under HTSUS 7308.90.3000, 7308.90.6000, 7308.90.9590, and 9403.20.0090.

On August 3, 2018 the U.S. International Trade Commission determined that there is a reasonable indication that a U.S. industry is materially injured by reason of imports of steel racks from China that are allegedly sold in the United States at less than fair value and subsidized by the government of China. As a result of the Commission’s affirmative determinations, the U.S. Department of Commerce will continue with its antidumping and countervailing duty investigations concerning imports of this product.
