Price stabilisation

On 4 April 2018, the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Food Supply of Brazil adopted the Ministerial Order 438 decreasing the minimum price of robusta coffee, bread type wheat, and wheat seed.

In the case of robusta coffee, the price has decreased from BRL 223.59 (USD 59.14) to 202.19 (USD 53.48) per 60-kilogram bag for the period ranging between April 2018 to March 2019.

As for bread type wheat, the price has also been readjusted downward from BRL 37.26 (USD 9.86) to BRL 36.17 (USD 9.57), and from BRL 41 (USD 10.84) to BRL 39.8 (USD 10.53) and from BRL 42.67 (USD 11.29) to BRL 41.42 (USD 10.96) per 60-kilogram bag in the south, southeast and the center of the country respectively for the period ranging between July 2018 and June 2019.

Finally, with regard to wheat seed, the price has been reduced from BRL 1.48 (USD 0.39) to 1.44 (USD 0.38) per kilogram for the period ranging between July 2018 and June 2019.
