Trade finance

The export loan was announced in März 2017 and finances the delivery of a polyester polymer production plant and a polyester staple fibre production plant (one production line), as well as the assembly and commissioning supervision of the plant, including licences ('Lieferung einer Anlage zur Herstellung von Polyesterpolymer und einer Anlage zur Herstellung von Polyesterstapelfasern (eine Linie) sowie Montage- und Inbetriebnahmeüberwachung des Werkes inklusive Lizenzen') to Russia. The benefitting German exporter is Uhde Inventa-Fischer GmbH, Dortmund.

The German Eximbank only publishes value ranges for the projects it finances. The present project is in category 4. This category includes projects with a financing value between 101 and 200 million EUR. The GTA assumes the lower bound amount of the respective category, in this case 101 million EUR (108 million USD), as the conservative estimate of the project value.

The maturity of the loan will be 10 years. The financing institution is AKA Ausfuhrkredit-Gesellschaft m.b.H., Frankfurt.
