Anti-dumping

The antidumping investigation on imports of A4 copy paper from Austria, Finland, the Republic of Korea, Russia and Slovakia was initiated on 19 March 2018. The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code subheading: 4802.56.10. The investigation follows the application lodged by Paper Australia Pty Ltd.

On 21 May 2018, the Australian authorities imposed provisional duties on imports of A4 copy paper from Finland, the Republic of Korea, Russia and Slovakia. The rate of duty on imports from Finland is 16.3%. The rate of duty on imports from the Republic of Korea is 7.1%. The rate of duty on imports from Russia is 14.4%. The rate of duty on imports from Solakia is 6.5%. The duty is in force for the duration of the investigation. No provisional duty was imposed on imports from Austria.
