Notice 37/2016 issued on May 25, 2016, by the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources of Australia also eliminated the import permit requirements on selected fresh fruit, herbs and vegetables, and different plant products originating from New Zealand.

The new changes entered into force on June 16, 2016.
