One of the consequences of the amendments introduced by Resolution 95 issued on December 19, 2017, by the Brazilian Foreign Trade Chamber was a decrease of the applicable tax on four tariff lines that was set at 2%. The affected products were NCM 3404.90.22, 3815.90.93, 3906.90.48 and 8533.21.20.
According to the WTO database, the previously applicable import duty was set at 10.57%, 5.5%, 9.76% and 16% respectively.
This Resolution incorporates Resolutions No. s 23/17 and 28/17 of the Mercosur Common Market Group.
