On January 26, 2018, the Federal Public Income Administration of Argentina issued General Resolution 4195-E/2018 increasing the number of customs points from where vegetable coal can be exported.

The new legislation allows the exporter to officialised charcoal export operations from 9 customs offices, as well as loading the goods from the operational areas managed by 9 customs offices. Previously, only 8 customs offices were allowed to process charcoal exports.

The new list of customs authorities is composed of Aduanas de Buenos Aires, Campana, Mendoza, Rosario, Barranqueras, Corrientes, Jujuy, Río Gallegos and Formosa which has been the new jurisdiction incorporated to the list.
