Financial grant

On December 8, 2017 the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development and Growth announced a partnership with NOVA Chemicals to help build a new polyethylene facility in the Sarnia-Lambton region, expand its existing ethylene manufacturing plant to supply the new facility, and strengthen NOVA Chemicals' research and development capabilities. Ontario is investing up to Can$100 million (US$80.3 million) through the Jobs and Prosperity Fund for this project.
