On January 28, 2017, the Ministry of Rural and Land Development of Bolivia announced the decision to restrict the emission of phytosanitary certificates to import grapes, with the objective to safeguard national production. This action led to the temporary import ban of the affected good. The decision entered into force on January 27, 2017, and went out of force on April 27, 2017.
