In a decision published in the November 29, 2017 edition of Customs Bulletin and Decisions, U.S. Customs and Border Protection proposed that yttria stabilized zirconium oxide powder should be reclassified from HTS 3824.90.9290 (5% duty) to HTSUS 3824.99.39 (duty-free). The final modification will be effective for goods entered or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption on or after January 26, 2018.
