Controls on commercial transactions and investment instruments

On January 5, 2017, the Ministry of Finance of Argentina adopted Resolution1-E/2017 eliminating the minimum holding period of foreign investors. Since 2015, the minimum holding period for foreign capital was 120 days. Only after this period had passed were investors allowed to repatriate funds they had moved into Argentina.
