ANNOUNCED AS TEMPORARYNo
On August 11, 2014, the Turkish authorities initiated an anti-circumvention investigation on imports of woven fabrics of synthetic and artificial stable fibres from Bulgaria and Poland (Notification 2014/30).
This investigation follows suspicion that the definitive anti-dumping duty imposed by Notification 2013/10 dated May 5, 2013 on imports of the same products originating in China might be circumvented (see measure 5292).
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code subheadings: 5513, 5514, 5515 and 5516.
On August 22nd, 2015, the Turkish authorities decided upon the extension of the anti-dumping measure imposed on imports of woven fabrics of synthetic and artificial stable fibres from China (see related intervention) to imports of the same products originating in Bulgaria and Poland (Notification 2015/40, 22.08.2015).
The rate of the duty is the same as the one imposed on imports originating in China: 87% of the CIF value. The Bulgarian companies E Miroglio EAD and Belotex 95 JSC are not subject to this measure.
On 20 April 2018, the Turkish authorities initiated a sunset review of the antidumping duty imposed on imports of woven fabrics of synthetic and artificial stable fibres from China. Since the antidumping measure imposed on imports of subject good from China was extended to imports of the same products originating in Bulgaria and Poland, the sunset review and its conclusion will hold for this country as well.
