In 2015 the Commerce & Industry Board approved a series of three deals with Lake Charles LNG Export Company, LLC whereby the state of Louisiana will incentivize the construction of three liquefaction trains by providing property tax exemptions that are valued at $852,800,000, $467,400,000, and $467,400,000, respectively, each over a ten-year period (i.e., collectively averaging $93,480,000 per year). The facility in question produces goods classified under item 325199 in the North American Industry Classification System (i.e., manufacturing basic organic chemical products except aromatic petrochemicals, industrial gases, synthetic organic dyes and pigments, gum and wood chemicals, cyclic crudes and intermediates, and ethyl alcohol).
