Anti-circumvention

 

On December 14, 2012, the Turkish authorities initiated an anti-circumvention investigation on imports of articulated link chain and parts thereof from Chinese Taipei, Malaysia and South Korea.
This investigation follows suspicion that the definitive anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of articulated chains from China might be circumvented.
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS codes: 7315.1190, 7315.1200 and 7315.1900.
On December 12, 2013, the Turkish authorities imposed a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of articulated link chain and parts thereof from Chinese Taipei, Malaysia and South Korea. The amount of the duty is USD 1200 per metric ton, regardless of the country goods originate in.
